Redeemed to Prosper in Difficult times

Hard times don't create heroes. It is during the hard times when the hero within us is revealed.— Bob Riley

Prospering in Difficult times means enjoying when everybody is suffering, having enough to eat when there is no food. Having enough harvest when there is no land and water to produce food etc.

The world is in a serious Difficult time but for the believers who will listen to the teachings of the lord Jesus Christ everything will be alright.

2 Timothy 3:1,"This knows also, that in the last days perilous times shall come".

We are in the last days. Does this mean that the believers are living in the cloud of suffering? No, we have been redeemed from suffering and its mentality. Perilous times means difficult moments that are too hard to deal with. It means tough, hard, troublesome times. The New living Translation Bible put it this way,you should know this Timothy that in the last days there will be difficult times". Amplified version had it this way,"understand this that in the last days will come perilous times of great stress and trouble. The world is in serious trouble but believers who know Jesus Christ shall triumph. John 17:16 says they are not of the world even as I am not of the world". We may be in the world but we are not of the economic system of this world that is trying to collapse. We have been set apart, we've been separated from this world. we live in a different place, we are living in the kingdom of God.

If you are of those that have been laid off and things are too difficult for you or your investments are in shamble I want to tell you something: your life is wrapped in God, the devil cannot touch your investment because we are in this world but we are not of kthe world system.

We are the head and not the tail.

Redemption has connected us to the top where we belong. So no matter what you are going through right now God will connect you to your destination faster. No matter what you can prosper in difficult times because God has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus not according to the circumstances or the nations economy.

Colossians 1:12-14

12 . Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 .Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 .In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Its important you know you are in Jesus Christ. The scripture shows us the position we are in Christ Jesus right now. He has made us to be partakers of his Divine inheritance. We are joint heirs with Christ. He has delivered us from the power of darkness. The moment we got born again he has translated us out of hardship and difficulties of this world.

The word Redemption means rescued from the kingdom of darkness through the blood of his dear son, so w e have been translated.

In the Greek word the meaning of the word translated is transferred or t mobileo be carried away. Those in the military understand what transfer really is. You understand that when you are being transferred from one part of the country to another or you may be transferred from one continent to another. Such transfer involves you carrying all your loads and belongings because you are relocating. Jesus has removed us, has relocated us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light and we are there now.

For those of you that have been transferred from one culture to the other it means you are going to make some sudden changes from one cold atmosphere to a warm atmosphere. From one language to another language etc., When you were translated from the kingdom of darkness you are translated from lack mentality and from poverty and its mentality. You were translated from darkness and have been placed in the kingdom of God. What a glorious place it is to experience the Glory of God.

We have been rescued from the kingdom of darkness. For the children of Israel there was light in the land of Goshen and there was darkness in the land of Egypt. They were very close to each other but one was in light and the other in darkness. One was experiencing the kingdom of light, the order was experiencing the kingdom of darkness. We are different people on earth, evil happening to others will not happen to us because we belong to light. This should bring encouragement to believers who worship God.

We must adjust our word, our thoughts and actions to the kingdom we've been translated to or we keep living in darkness even when we claim we are in the light. We do this by renewing our mind in the word of God. The kingdom culture is so important that we align ourselves to it. We have to learn about it from the word of God.

There are some people who are born again for years but did not know that they have been translated into the kingdom of our dear son. They have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness yet the darkness mentality is still with them. We have to change the way we think, the way we speak and align them with the kingdom we now belong to. Pastor Bill Winston says, "we must get our mind renewed to the reality of the kingdom of God when we are in the midst of that ugly situation. Don't tell me what the kingdom of God can do. Rather use it to get yourself through anything you want no matter the circumstances around you in the world system. You can use the kingdom of God in you to gain independence from the world system, independence from sicknesses and diseases etc.

That's what the kingdom of God can do for us believers so that we can prosper in Difficult times.

1 Peter 2:9,"but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show the praises of him who had called you out of the kingdom of darkness into his marvelous light". We are not subject to the hardship that this time and season brings forth, that's the simple truth.

 Psalm 9:9-10

9 .The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

10 . And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

We do not live under the Dominion rule of the devil, the economic system of this world at the moment. We are subject to the blessings.

Genesis 1:28,"and God bless them and say unto them the fruitful and multiply and replenish the Earth and subdue it and have Dominion over the fishes of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the Earth". No matter what kind of economic system we are living in, we are not subject or governed by them, we are governed by another system called the heavenly system or the kingdom of God.The times are subject to us as believers in Christ Jesus.

In this trouble times when the cost of living is high, people have lost their jobs and are struggling, debt is accumulated etc.,but for us God is our refuge and our tower in hard times. He makes us live above any economic situation. As people are crying, it's not for us the believers. We will prosper through it. The Lord has a covenant determination to prosper us.

2 Chronicles 16:9,"for the eyes of the Lord run to and flow throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect towards him". He wants to prosper you in this difficult time, so all you have to do is to Believe by Faith and receive it.

We are talking about living in this world of Difficult times and yet prospering in the midst of the turmoil. We have

been relieved from sickness, poverty and frustration. This is what Jesus did for us when he died on the cross of Calvary, to liberate us from darkness to light.

I must tell you, child of God: that no matter what happens to you at this time, don't stop tithing. That's what keeps the windows of heaven open for you. It keeps the faith of God alive inside of us. God wants us to live in the realm of the Garden of Eden here on Earth. My inheritance is not backed on fluctuation. We are in the kingdom of God but we must renew our life to the kingdom of God's son otherwise we continue to receive the shadows of darkness even when we are in light. Remember, it is not God's will for you to be sick, poor or be in slavery. We are not subject to the times we are in, we are subject to the kingdom which we belong to from the day we gave our life to Jesus Christ. We are separated from the world and his way of life and principles. God wants you to be a kingdom dweller. God wants you to be the head and not tail, Deuteronomy 28:13.

You need to be in a place where you know that you are on the top no matter what is going on in the economy of your country. You are redeemed to prosper despite the odds.

Serious problem is coming all over the world and it will continue to get worst but for the household of faith everything is going to be alright. But the believers must bear in mind that they will not fold their hands waiting; they must fight the good fight of faith, 1 Timothy 6:12.The times are Difficult for people who don't know what the word of God is saying concerning the believers' inheritance in Christ.

Job 5:20,"In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword." We laugh at the face of destruction and famine because we are victorious already. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith,1 John 5:4.

Faith is the believers advantage, we have an advantage. Psalm 33:18,"behold the eyes of the Lord are upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy". No matter what is going on around us, no matter what is happening, we are lifted up by the word of God.

Psalm 37:18-19

18. The Lord knoweth the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever.

19. They shall not be ashamed in the evil times and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied".The Hebrew word for satisfied is to have enough, to have plenty no matter what is going on, no matter the economic system we are already satisfied with. That is our inheritance. The Hebrew translations says he will supply until nothing more is needed. Proverbs 10:2,"Pleasures of the wicked profit nothing but righteousness deliver it from death.
