WHERE WILL YOU SPEND YOUR ETERNITY

The word "eternity" refers to a state or period of time that has no beginning or end, is infinite, and never-ending. It can also describe something that is timeless, enduring, or permanent.

In Christianity  eternity often refers to:

1. The afterlife: the existence or state of being after death, where the soul continues to exist in a spiritual realm.

2. God's nature: God is often described as eternal, meaning He has no beginning or end and exists beyond time.

3. Heavenly existence: a state of being in the presence of God, free from suffering and death.

In philosophical contexts, eternity can refer to:

1. Timelessness: a state beyond the bounds of time, where events or experiences are not subject to change or succession.

2. Infinity: endlessness or boundlessness in terms of duration, extent, or degree.

3. Permanence: something that remains unchanged, constant, or enduring through time.

In everyday language, eternity might be used to describe:

1. A very long time: "I've been waiting in line for eternity!"

2. Something timeless or classic: "This fashion design is eternal, it never goes out of style."

3. A deep or profound experience: "The beauty of nature left me with an eternal sense of wonder."

WHY SHOULD WE BE PREPARED FOR ETERNITY

Being prepared for eternity is crucial for several reasons:

1. *Accountability*: We will stand before God and give an account of our lives (Romans 14:12, 2 Corinthians 5:10).

2. *Judgment*: We will face judgment based on our actions, words, and thoughts (Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 20:12-15).

3. *Eternal Destination*: Our eternal destination, heaven or hell, depends on our relationship with God (John 3:36, Revelation 20:15).

4. *No Second Chances*: There are no second chances after death; our eternal fate is sealed (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 22:11-12).

5. *Eternal Consequences*: Our choices have eternal consequences, impacting our existence forever (Matthew 25:46, Luke 16:24-26).

6. *Meeting God*: We will meet God face-to-face, and being prepared is essential (Exodus 3:5, Revelation 22:4).

7. *Eternal Life*: Eternity offers eternal life with God, which requires preparation (John 3:16, 1 John 5:13).

8. *Avoiding Regret*: Preparing for eternity helps avoid regret and remorse in the afterlife (Matthew 25:29-30, Luke 16:24-26).

9. *Glorfing God*: Being prepared for eternity brings glory to God (1 Corinthians 10:31, Revelation 4:11).

10. *Blessings and Rewards*: Preparing for eternity leads to eternal blessings and rewards (Matthew 25:34-40, Revelation 22:12).

Remember, preparation for eternity is a lifelong journey, and it's essential to prioritize your relationship with God and live according to His will.

GOD HAVE SET A  DAY OF JUDGEMENT FOR ALL WICKED SINNERS

The Bible teaches that God has appointed a day of judgment for all people, including those who have rejected Him and lived in sin. This day is often referred to as the "Day of the Lord" or the "Final Judgment."

In the New Testament, Jesus speaks about this day in Matthew 25:31-46, where He describes a scene in which He separates people into two groups: those who are righteous and those who are wicked. He says that the wicked will be sent into "eternal punishment" while the righteous will receive "eternal life."

Similarly, in Revelation 20:12-15, the apostle John writes about the "Great White Throne Judgment" where all the dead are judged according to their deeds. Those whose names are not found in the "Book of Life" are thrown into the lake of fire, which is described as the "second death."

The Bible also warns that this day of judgment will be a time of great sorrow and regret for those who have rejected God. In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says that the wicked will be thrown into "outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

However, the Bible also offers hope and salvation to those who put their trust in God. In John 3:16, Jesus says that God loves the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

So, while the day of judgment is a certainty, it is also a reminder of God's love and the importance of living a life that honors Him.
