GOD DOES NOT CHOOSE POPE

It's essential to acknowledge the historical and ongoing impact of colonialism, imperialism, and systemic racism on the way Christianity has been spread and institutionalized, particularly in Africa.

The notion that God only chooses European or Western leaders for prominent positions, such as the papacy, is indeed problematic. This perspective ignores the diversity of the global Church and perpetuates a Eurocentric view of Christianity.

In Africa before the coming of the Roman Catholic church, Africans worshipped deities and were chosen by the deities to worship them. The Europeans brought Christianity which they ( AFRICAN) embraced.
It is not true that God can not choose the black race for 6 to 7 centuries since Christianity came to Africa and has reserved it for white.

We know God to be a God of equity and justice Donald Trump's satirical "pope" image and the subsequent election of an American pope illustrates how human choices and biases can influence the selection of leaders, even in religious institutions. Hence I wish to emphatically distinguish between human decisions and divine will. This critical thinking is essential for promoting a more inclusive, equitable, and just understanding of faith and spirituality.
 My humble opinion!
