How to Nurture The Kingdom of God in you
The word kingdom is a domain or an area rules or governed by a king.
The kingdom of God is a domain ruled or governed by God.
The kingdom of God is in two parts:
1. The kingdom of God
2. The kingdom of heaven
1. The kingdom of God
In the Bible especially in the old testament the kingdom of God is used to show God's sovereignty over everything He created. God's kingdom cuts across everything God created in all the planet and the realms.
2. Kingdom of Heaven
Daniel 2:1-2
1. ]And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.
2. Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.
None of them was able to interpret the king's dream or sayto say the dream. Daniel consulted almighty God who revealed the dream and interpretation to him, he told the king the dream and interpretation.
Daniel 2:11-12
11. And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
12. For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

He went to the lord in prayer and God revealed the dream and the interpretation to him.
Daniel 2:31-34
31. Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.
32. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass
33. His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
34. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
The interpretation
Daniel 2:37-44
37. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
38. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
39. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
40. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
41. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
42. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
44. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
The Babylonian empire was the Gold which was led by Nebuchadnezzar. Followed was Medo- Parsian empire led by Darius and Ahansaru. Followed by Greek empire led by Alexander the great, followed by the Romans empire led by Cesaer.
Now the last Kingdom is the Angro- American, the Britian and United States of America. This kingdom can never agree as one though they are United. We have the G7, that is, seven world powers ruling as United Nations headed by United States of America and supported strongly by the Britian. They can never agree, this kingdom is partly strong and partly weak and can't easily mesh.
We are in the last days, the kingdom of God which had already began shall soon fill the earth and all other government that existed or still in existence shall soon be wiped out and this God's kingdom will fill the whole earth. So the kingdom of God is being established in this earth.
It is not true that the earth will make alterly destroyed and all believers will relocate to heaven. Rather, God will make a new heaven and a new earth.
He will restore the old Eden which was lost.
Matthew 6:10
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The word Eden means a portion of God's glory or presence, God's domain. God was ruling them until they sinned and choose another God. Satan became their God rather the almighty Jehovah and as such God's will for their live was introcated.
When we embrace God's kingdom His will begins to established in our lives while we are here on the earth not when we die.
Luke17:20-21
20. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Jesus brought the kingdom back to us. He is the kingdom personified and His message was the message of His new Government.
Mark1:14-15
14. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15. And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
So Jesus preached the message of His Kingdom,
Repent for the kingdom means change the way you think and think differently.
The kingdom of God or the Government of God, the rulership of God which be headed by Jesus Christ will usher in everlasting life amongst others.
The kingdom of God if we must embrace it, we must to imbibe the kingdom culture or lifestyle.
So the kingdom of God is already in you if you're born again
Colossians 1:13-14
13 .Whath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
So we have been transferred or moved from the kingdom of darkness or rulership of Satan the kingdom or rulership of God's dear son, just by exercising faith in Jesus ransome sacrifice.
The following are necessary in Nurturing the kingdom of God which is already existing in you.
1. Make the kingdom of God your number one priority.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
This means when you put God's will and His ways of doing things first, we will never struggle with this world system of getting our need mate and we don't have to beg God to receive His promises.
All the things we need will be added to us automatically.
A compassionate heart for God and interest of His kingdom must be put first if we must receive all His oromises.
2. We must walk in obedience to His instructions

Deuteronomy 28:1-2
1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
Every blessings from the lord requires a condition to receive it. He says if thoughts will hearken diligently to the voice of the lord and be careful and to observe and to do. It means to do as commanded not as convenience.
3. Carry God's presence
Mountains bows at His presence. Every challenge or challenges that you might have surrenders to to His presence, so a man carrying God's presence will always have things the way he wants it.
John14:10
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Here Jesus is telling us that He has God's backup. He carried God's presence.
John14:11-13
11. ]Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
So we will do greater works than Jesus because He went back to His father and whatsoever we ask in His name including miracles and greater works, He will give it to us that the father maybe glorified in the son.
4. Constantly feed on the word of God
Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
We must feed on the word of God the same way we eat quality food. We need balanced spiritual diet not junk food.
If you're not feed well in the physical world you'll suffer from kwashiorkor, same is applicable in to our spirit man, if you feed on spiritual junks you'll suffer from spiritual kwashiorkor. And there are lots of kwashiorkor christians in our generation today.
2Timothy2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Study and not playing around. You must be fit to be used by God.
When God called us He equip us then to grow into maturity or to higher level bis your studying. Your level of spiritual growth depends on your knowledge of the scriptures, this is what qualifies you a true workman.
5. Act on God's word and let it produce result in your life.
Mark4:20
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
How is it that this soil (heart) is able to produce fruits ? Because this heart accepts the word of God and nurtured it.
We must allow the word of God to build us by applying them in our daily lives.
Remember your success in life depends on what kind of soil your heart represents. The word you received and managed in your heart is what you become.
Don't forget, if you're not born again your life is at risk. You don't have the kingdom of God in you life and won't expect God's will to be done, our in coming Government on the earth won't be your.
Salvation Prayer
